| CAT is a multilingual text editor combined with a simple text organizer. Thanks to this feature related pieces of text, refered to as notes, can be gathered into an electronic binder. CAT outputs the binder under two formats. One format can be viewed by most Internet browsers. It consists of two twin files: an XML file that has the binder data and an XSL file which provides the browser with the display directives. The second format is used to access, modify or expand the contents of the binder. This second format is proprietary. It can only be accessed by the CAT executable. |
